|Giving to your Church is so much more than just helping pay an electric bill. Giving to St. George ultimately accomplishes three things. First, it is an expression of your gratitude to God who is the source of all good things in our lives. Simply put, we have what we have because of His abundant blessings! Second, tithing helps remind us that life -true life- comes only from God and a life in Christ and not from anything material. Finally, giving to your Church enables her to continue her ministry of E3, to share the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the world and to change lives one at a time. Please see below the ways you can give to St. George and be a part of something truly special!
How to Give
There is an opportunity to give to St. George at any of our Divine Services. Your offering may be placed in the trays or in the offering box in the Narthex. You may also send your tithe to us at 4530 E. Gold Dust Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85028
St. George uses an incredible online service called Pushpay that enables you to make one time offerings or repeating gifts. Pushpay is equipped to handle Visa or MasterCard as well as electronic check via ACH. We prefer using ACH if at all possible as there is no percentage fee attached to the transaction. With Pushpay, you can give whenever and wherever suits you! To get started click here or text ‘dragon’ from your mobile phone to 77977*.
Donating an appreciated stock for your tithe is also a great way to help your Church. In many cases, making a stock transfer also relieves the donor of paying capital gains taxes on the transferred stocks.
When preparing your end of life directives, please consider making St. George one of your beneficiaries. There are few better ways to leave a lasting legacy than to empower God’s Holy Church to continue her work in the world.
We thank you for your kindness and generosity. If you have any questions about the ways in which you can give to St. George, please contact any member of our Stewardship Team: Salim Shleef, Eddie Khoury, or Steve Feldman.
